Police are saying the road will be shut for two days!

It didnt look that bad at the time.

Obviously a lot worse than I thought.

Current diversion for 69 & 70 is Old Birchills, Bentley Lane, Reedswood Road, back to Sainsbury's.

Was the accident on the canal bridge? that might explain it

Now had further details,

It appears it is a single car RTC with the wall of the bridge over the disused railway trackbed and the wall is now unstable and could fall either way

No, it is the trackbed of the long closed Wolverhampton line. The Chase line is much further up Green Lane

Ah yes, with you.  The Google map accompanying the article in the Express & Star is bang wrong in that case.
Don't you start.

What are the x51 loadings like compared to the 997?

Bit of a strange question...
But both are normally quite full in peaks, during the day X51 seems to be busy 997 less so

Sorry, @Matt  is refusing to go on the x51 on Thursday because it gets too busy and apparently isn't as nice as the 997 even though it takes half the time!

Ahh, fair enough.
To be fair, if you're going to Walsall I actually prefer the 934, goes up and over the Beacon and a little bit more direct than the 997 without being busy

Green Lane now open this morning.

B10s now allocated to 69? Or is just three rare working?

P419 EJW

It has been a long time for a B10L, let alone three, to appear on WA 69. Looking forward to catch them today!
