Ex Rotala Levantes at Walsall Garage ??

Has anyone any gen on this? As i was speaking to a Decourcey bloke yesterday and the rumours are that NXWM will be taking on some National Express coach work ???

Theres a few Levantes parked up in Walsall depot so does anyone have a clue??


So far the rumours are that NXWM will be taking on the Airport runs 210 & 777 ???

NXWM have operated the 210 previously out of BC with 10 x Scania Irizars PB's back in 2005 ish and transferred the work to Veolia, Birmingham

But that would be potentially all of the ex Rotala work that DeCourcey have since taken on and would halve Decourcey's Miller St fleet

Another possible scenario, could NXWM be taking over the NX work of Walsall based Travelstar European? They currently operate 5 x Levantes on NX routes 210, 310, 319 & 320, incidentally the same number of Levantes currently parked at WA

There is no real story behind this. NX have bought Flights Levante's and they are having some work done to them at Volvo in Walsall before going down south to replace some older vehicles in the fleet.
Volvo couldn't park them all up while working on them hence the few at Walsall depot.
