B7RLE's (both the MK1 and MK2) have always been common on the 4's for quite some years now, you've clearly not seen many...

Walsall don't really differentiate between the types either.

Is the WA37 on a diversion in Lodge Farm? I'm sure I've read somewhere (maybe on here) that it is, but can't seem to find anything on Nxbus or TFWM websites. And obviously can't track it on Bus Times

Was just waiting at Bradford Place and 1794 rocked up to do what I thought would be the 12:01 34 to Bilston but it then went not in service and has gone back to Garage apparently the 11:26 34 to Walsall is the last journey every bus does that is scheduled to do the 12:01, is there a reason for this when I looked at 1794 on bustimes it had to do the 12:30 34 back to Walsall and it's last service was due to be the 19:20 39 back to Walsall. Looking at Friday 1846 that was also due to do the 12:01 also went back to Walsall Garage. I know during the normal non half-term week a B7RLE usually does the 34 I think replacing a bus around 9 or 10AM maybe the Double Decker that comes of the 701 but I have also seen it replace an Omnilink but yeah seems strange it had a full schedule and yet it returned back to WA.

The diversion currently on the 4 service seems to be good and no one complaining about it. I wonder if this could be made permanent route to enable deckers to run the route again. And just so Sandwell and Dudley station has a bus run the 3 or 3A down and send the 3 down the same way as 4s.

The 3 and 3A already follow the same route as the 4/4H/4M between West Bromwich and Oldbury.

You haven't thought this through have you:
Where would you get the double deckers from ? With single deckers already appearing on double decker routes in Birmingham, especially YW services 2 and 3, also frequently appearing on PB services 7, 33, 65, 67 and 907. Which routes would have to lose it's double deckers to put on to the 4s ?

Exactly there's not enough Deckers let alone swap a whole allocation.

Near enough all of Walsall's 'non City' services are mainly single deckers so I'm not sure where these other Deckers are thought to come from? The 997 and X51?

The only exception of the Double Deckers outside of City is the 6 mostly 4566, E400, StreetDeck, E400 Trident and the 7 as that interworks with it and the 10 has Double Deckers but the last few days has used Omnilinks and B7's. But all Spare Double Deckers Should be used on the City Services. I do believe yesterday after 6761 had worked the 881 and the 34 it was put onto the 934. And Tony has already said all Bradford Place Services don't use Double Deckers as they come out of service under Bridgeman Street. The only exception being the School boards and evening 37

Tony has already said Bradford Place can't have Double Deckers due to the Buses running to and from the Garage the only exceptions are School Boards and the Evening 37 as they interwork with the 41 of an Evening and then they run dead from St Paul's

I know that as I just said all of them are near enough Singles! I don't know why you needed to post all that, a handful of Deckers don't make tonnes of difference.

Contrary to the point Walsall don't have enough doubles for their other services let alone the 4's.

There's 80 new DD EV's virtually ready to enter service for a start, resulting in cascaded DD's elsewhere + allowing for single deckers to be withdrawn. With another 90 due to complete full 170 order. Plus another few hundred to follow.
