6718 seems to be doing a lot of driving around to and from Bradford Place this morning not in service. Any ideas why?

If anyone wants a trident/ Platinum on 77

1640 from Walsall 1725 from Sutton on Saturdays only is a 10 board. It is booked as Platinum but 4360 is doing the honours today.

4360 will then change to 41 1818 from Walsall

Yes saw that earlier on. Been on all day. Was one on yesterday morning for few hours too.

Is the 29 service on diversions after 6pm again because a friend of mine caught it home last night and the driver never said anything which meant my friend having to walk quite a distance.

Depends whether people start using the buses for target practice

At present it's on normal route.

Yesterday 4578 was the target on the 29 - 1645 from wabs.

All buses after was diverted for passenger and driver safety.

Oh I see. Buses must have been on target day before too because they were on diversion.

They had a go at 4570 yesterday around 19:00  as the driver flagged 2135 down and told him to be careful but luckily 2135 didnt get attacked as it did all the remaining trips until 23:28 without diverting

EDIT : Now confirmed to be 4570 not 4567

How come the other thread isn't being used for the latest 29 issues?

Looking at bustimes 6,9,35,41 and 77 all interwork on Sunday Service

While I understand why interworking happens, why on certain problem routes, it is allowed to happen.

Take the 9 for instance, it's practically a 2 hour round trip, so why for the sake of a few minutes, it has to go onto another route, while a bus from another route takes up the next 9 journey going back the other way, with the risk of either bus running late on route at some point.?

Surely keeping to timetable ought to be a priority, rather than sending a bus off on a different route to save money?

If all the routes concerned are reliable, then fair enough, but we all know of routes that regularly have problems, for some reason.

The only thing that springs to mind, is with the driver shortage, swopping the buses between routes allows certain areas to get a bus at some point in the day!
