4666 has had a good day out. It did the 2045 departure from the burges to keresley village. Didn't see 4616 this evening so might have been swapped.

Ben

Apologies if it was mentioned before but I got lost with the thread; Why are 4616 etc in Coventry?

I had an unexpected trip on 4616 earlier today (Although I didn't manage a decent photo).

I'm going to have to do a double take when waiting for the 900 now...

Not sure 4395 arrived?

The new ADL single deckers on 2/3 have gained rear adverts.

JoNi

4616 and 4666 both on 16/A today.

Are 4395,4616,aand 4666, replacements for 4153,4162 and 4181, or is it we have 6 Birmingham buses in Coventry now? If so are they from the same source, Birmingham Central?

4395 is not in Coventry, In service at YW. 4153/62/81 have already been mentioned as being back at BC. Main site will give you reference to where any bus is allocated

JoNi

Are 4616 and 4666 staying at Coventry for a specific period of time?

JoNi

4666 was on 10 earlier but changed over.  4616 on 6/A.

for some bizzare reason 4153,4162 and 4181 were returned to BC and another 3 borrowed beats me why no one seems to know

JoNi

They must have heard you Ben see unusual workings
Mind you Brownshill Green always did have the newest buses ;)

Will Coventry be getting a new livery along side nxwm and dundee. Or are they going to be crimson too?

10th May services changes in Coventry have been delayed for at least a week due to the delayed completion of Warwick Road/Rail Station highway works.

The 9 route is being adjusted to run in both directions through Finham and Green Lane,  I was thinking this was going to be via the reverse of the inbound route until Green Lane (Gretna Road) then a mini CW loop via Kenpas Highway's service road and Bathway Road back to Green Lane to resume current inbound route, However Finham Residents Association allude the service is also extended to serve the Leasowes Avenue loop.
So in theory and despite no suggestion of such changes on service 9A it could well be shortened to Mantilla Drive (ACW loop like former 14 or 64 service) and maybe reduced to a Mon-Sat daytime operation,
All will be revealed at the appropriate time I suppose.

Yes the 9 will serve Leasowes Ave, Finham residents have wanted a service both ways on Green Lane since the 15A/C finished, the short lived 9C was rarely used.
