Saw a 55xx hybrid on the 45 at Longbridge Station at about half 6 tonight.

Woah interesting stuff. I have never heard of Centre Bus. Heard of and used Select, D&G and Midland Classic. Assuming this is all true perhaps Bob is correct that NX would be interested in the south end for Walsall / Wolverhampton. It would be nice to see Select take on more, the 70 for example.

Centrebus operate services in Leicestershire, Derbyshire, Rutland, Nottinghamshire, Northamptonshire, Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire.

How come WN's B7RLE'S return from "refurb" with dirty interiors, re-trimmed seat squabs that aren't the same size, damaged seat backs that haven't had the damage rectified and tip up seats that haven't been put back on straight? In one case, one tip is seat was a good inch and a half higher than the one next to it

Also, when are the crusty interiors on the hybrids going to be tidied up?

Ex Phil Anslow coaches of Varteg Hill, Pontypool YJ60 LTZ is the latest solo to join the Banga fleet.  Spotted on the 891 today with all over white livery.  This is the third vehicle Banga have acquired from Phil Anslow.

I was sent a pic in the week of similar YJ60LTV (ex Hatch Green Coaches of Somerset) working the 891.

May I ask, with parts of Wales (ie Wrexham) included in Arriva's 'West Midlands' zone map - is it actually possible to travel as far as there in a day? And has it been done/attempted before?

I've covered the routes over to Wrexham a few times. If you get chance give it a go.

I wouldn't say it would be "draconian" removing both services from Wombourne.  It would mean faster journey times for people travelling to Wolverhampton from Merry Hill/Stourbridge and along that corridor.  Furthermore, a Wombourne local service could work in my opinion that could run half hourly with one journey per hour extending to Swindon.  The current route between Wall Heath & Hinksford is unsuitable and quite frankly dangerous for buses due to the narrow road so it would be beneficial not to have a bus serve there.

Dangerous for buses because the roads are narrow?

Just been hearing about a couple of RTC's in Wolves involving newly "trained" drivers.

Also still waiting on the Park Lane cleaners to get over their dust allergies. The B7RLE's particularly the 3/4 brandeds are disguisting inside and despite numerous complaints we still put up with grimy takeaway tobacco packet type buses.

Should send some Diamond buses to Castlecroft instead!

I don't recall seeing it but then who knows I might of had a microsleep. Thanks anyway.
