Only 2 weeks to go to this event, really looking forward to it:

It will be great to see Sandy Lane garage as I was only a kid when it closed.Also I haven't been to Cov since the new Enviro400s entered service or since the Network Review.

I'm not a big fan of coventry and have never been in the transport museum, but I do know where it is,( they say it should be a decent day weatherwise) so no excuses! where exactly is this sandy lane place you mentioned?

Sandy Lane is just north of the City Centre, not sure exactly, so will find out tomorrow when the vintage bus drops me off outside!

I understand the Daimler bus factory may have been in this area too, so a very important place for the Coventry bus industry.
