I've broken down with 4687 on The Priory Queensway fail to start, the 67 behind has also broken down at Aston Uni with an overheating gearbox. 36 minute gap in the service currently

Hey, at least you didn't break down with me on board this time!  ;D

Yeah forgot you were on the last time. 😁 Luckily there were not many people on the bus at the time. There was quite a few people there by the time the next bus turned up

Only just noticed this, but what Dom said in response
I've experienced that once before with the last 51 from town - 01:02
Many people waiting abandoned and went for a taxi but I knew it was still going to turn up. Eventually came well gone half 1 and with only 5 people on board in the end made for a gloriously fast ride home

Just noticed your reply and thank you for a fuller explanation. I've always been lucky with last buses when I used to catch them, but did wonder what would happen.

The heat has got too much for 4679 on the 11A, it's conked out on the Bristol Road, passengers were all unloaded and waiting for the bus behind. Queue at the Oak Tree Lane stop was large.

4800 ends up breaking down quite a lot...It's quite funny actually, as there's a driver at Perry Barr who absolutely loves this bus...She's actually nicknamed 4800 "Katy's Love" and it usually ends up being allocated to her...But every time she seems to have 4800, it breaks down...It's funny to see the posts on Facebook of her upset as 4800 has died again...

4800 is the worst MK1 E400 PB have for reliability I've been told by drivers, it seems to love overheating. I remember riding this beast on the 33 last year and goodness can this fly down roads. Not as good as 4814 with its whine. Love the ex PE E400's.

First Bristol 37616 gave up on the last 82 of the day last night. It was completely abandoned on a semi-rural road not far from Bristol Parkway Station, should have been due at 2120, I arrived at 2330 to find it there. The tracker must have been left running on it too as it was still showing as being 1 minute away at the next stop along.
Quite surprised nobody had bricked or torched it to be fair :o
