The first Optare Versa YJ57XVW has been repainted in Central Buses standard livery and it also seems to have a fleet number 9. On the inside there are new seat covers and an interior repaint as we'll. 8)

Passed it on the Lichfield Road this afternoon. Looks exceptionally smart, like usual for Central Buses

Yes - a Central Buses Enviro 200 did the morning X73 to Birmingham, and Staffordshire County Council's March Bus Service Changes pages state that Central Buses are also operating the 16 (Tamworth - Kingsbury) from today.  Both timetables are said to be unchanged.

Thanks for posting! It's good to see the X73 get a reliable, smart company operating it. Hopefully it can be built back up as let's face it, if anyone can do it it's Central after their success on the X55, proving they can run a quality alternative to Arriva people will happily catch!
