[ex] Hansons YX65 RHA is operating out of Kidderminster depot and has been for a couple of weeks.

They'll be more former Hanson's buses & routes joined over this weekend

Solo1

Let's hope they keep the hansons buses on the hansons services

I thought the 276 was a Tividale route as it interworked w/ #24.
Don't forget that Kiddy also operate the 749 too which comes off a 318 board when it was with hansons IIRC

Well that failed as 21021 was on the 657 yesterday!

I would guess this is deliberate so Ex Hansons buses stay where passengers are familiar with them if for example one ended up on the 2L to Ludlow still with Hansons branding it would more than likely cause confusion. This also free up a extra spare Diamond branded bus for Kidderminster which would of otherwise been on the 267/657.

Thing is those two routes were diamond services pre buyout of Hanson's so would actually confuse customers. There is apparently one in Redditch today

There was a picture of 0032 being washed at Redditch yesterday on Facebook plus I believe a picture of 1524 paying a visit to Redditch on route to Tividale  (both photo's since disappeared)

Not really as Hansons has previously had the 267/657 contracts in the past and the last time Hansons ran a route into Kiddy was in Summer 2010 the 252 to Merry Hill. So I would guess the first option would definitely cause less confusion. I am a where of a ex Hansons bus on the 51 in Redditch today but this should probably be talked about in the Redditch thread.

A few have been down in Perry Barr on the 68A/C. Looks extremely extremely weird seeing them over there. Not sure if one has done the 654A.

I do remember seeing a couple on the 42 / 43 in Tipton a while back, looked pretty odd since I'm so used to seeing Diamond ones on there.

Yeah the Cadet (30215) has been on the 42/43 a number of times now. I've actually ridden it on the 43 a few days ago. It seems to be on the 40 most days. I will be sad to 30215 to be repainted. It is a nice bus.
