Is it just 2 being withdrawn? Unless they plan on increasing the proportion of double decks in the fleet in the future perhaps?
What's likely to happen to 2246 anyway?
I've heard 2246 is to replace 1687 as the new Health Buzz

4228 at Miller Street, which despite being withdrawn nearly two years ago is still complete and drivable and available for preservation.

Any serious offers need to be in the £1,500 +VAT(at 20%) & Tyres.

Offers can be made to Disposals @ Nationalexpress . com (without the spaces only put in to avoid bots picking the address up)

Tony

All of the following will be put out to tender soon, so speak up now for serious offers, not moaning later when I post they are off to scrapyards. Serious offers for preservation only to disposals @ nationalexpress . com (without the spaces). Scrap price for complete double decks is currently around the £1,500 to give a clue of the offers required with VAT and tyres on top
323, 324, 325, 326, 800, 1450, 1512, 4144, 4157, 4218, 4228
4230, 4243, 4292, 4293, 4299, 4308, 4316, 4319, 4325, 4338, 4339
4350, 4379, 4381, 4384, 4402, 4405 some are only fit for scrap, but I have just copied & pasted the full list. The way it works is offers are made and National Express accept or decline, so don't just email asking for a price.

BBS

didnt expect 4502 to be withdrawn. what was the issue?

Year VOR and general cannibalism warranted it's demise.
