A prime example would be the 255/256, they are both Trident operated Monday-Saturday and B7RLE operated on Sundays
Class 153, 155 and 156. The Super Sprinters
Local Routes: 21, 89, 48/A, 12/A, 54/A

The 24 again. Mainly Trident with the odd E400 or Hybrid Mon to Sat, 100% Hybrid on a Sunday.

Oh and the 99. It's E200s in the week, with knackered red MPD Darts on a Sunday. ;)

At Wolverhampton, the following changes happen on a Sunday

11 - B7RLE (gets anything in the garage except hybrids Mon-Sat)
25 - B7RLE (gets Mercs & B6s Mon-Sat)
27 - B7RLE (anything except Hybrids Mon-Sat)
32/33 - Tridents (also can get anything except hybrids Mon-Sat)
59 - Tridents and Volvo B5LH (no Spectras on Sundays)
79 - Tridents (gets Spectras alongside Tridents Mon-Sat)
255 - B7RLE (gets Tridents Mon-Sat)
256 - B7RLE (gets Tridents Mon-Sat)

Spectras and Mercs do not come out on Sundays. Only one B6 comes out, the bus on the 62

Also worth noting that the 26A & 81 are operated by Diamond on Sundays, and the 28E & 82 by Arriva.

At Pensnett, the following changes happen on a Sunday

243 - B7RLE (gets Mercs Mon-Sat)
244 - B7RLE (gets Mercs Mon-Sat)
246 - Enviro400 & Tridents (can get Mercs & B7RLEs as well Mon-Sat)
276 - B7RLE (gets Mercs Mon-Sat)
297E - B7RLE (gets Mercs Mon-Sat)

Also worth noting that the 53 & 205 are operated by Diamond, and the 289 by West Bromwich garage.

I have taught you WN's allocation well matt ;) Saves me the job of having to post it ;)

WA:

6-B7RLE (Mainly Trident Mon-Sat)
77-B7RLE (Tridents Mon-Sat)
51-Because of interworking during evenings 51 regually gets 473* and 476* on a sunday alongside the usual 61 plates.
40-One singular B7RLE (Tridents mainly Mon-Sat)
70-B7RLE (Tridents and B10L regually work Mon-Sat)
89-Just B7RLE (No Tridents)
34E/39E- B7RLE (Usually B10L)

Also to note WN 5/6 don't use route branded buses due to the 5 interworking with the 10 and the 6 with the 3.

Trident 4609

Also to note WN 59 has the majority of its buses on a sunday as B5's. Usually 4 B5's and Two Tridents but sometimes it is 3 B5's,3 tridents

The boards operated with each vehicle type are: (On a Sunday)

59/01-B5's (Always a Hybrid on the first journey)
59-02-Trident (Always a Trident)
59/03-Trident (Always a Trident)
59/04-B5 (Always a B5)
59/05-B5 (Always a B5)
59-06- Either B5 or Trident (Depends whether there are 2 or 3 tridents and 4 or 3 B5's) but usually a B5

Does the B7LRE single deckers on the 301 depend on whether WA is operating the rail replacement or not?

John

The Coventry 4 as well as the 67 has normal buses on Sundays, not Bendis. A mixture are used

B7RLE's appear most days anyway especially Sundays. I remember when WA operated Rail replacement the 301 had two E400's and a trident

Stu

AG's 1 uses only B7RLEs on Sunday (with the occasional Omnilink), as opposed to the Geminis and Presidents during the week.

I don't live near the route, but I believe this may also be the case with the 5 too, though I cannot confirm. The 71 doesn't run on Sundays, so there are plenty of B7RLEs spare. As passenger loadings are lighter, and these newer buses are more fuel-efficient, it makes economic sense.
My locals:
2 - Birmingham to Maypole | 3 - Birmingham to Yardley Wood
11A/C - Birmingham Outer Circle | 27 - Yardley Wood to Frankley
76 - Solihull to Northfield | 169 - Solihull to Kings Heath
