Is this additional to 734 - or is NXWM paying XPlore Dundee for 734?

NX own Xplore Dundee they don't need to pay for the bus

Tony

All I said was I was going to fetch a bus bought second hand.

731-734 were all bought second hand

There will actually be a charge imposed as 734 is owned by Tayside but will be on loan or sold onto West Midlands Travel Ltd and NX companies charge each other for intercompany loans / purchases.

Well National Express Group owns numerous firms, but obviously expect all their subsidiaries to make a profit in their respective areas of business.

Therefore as a simple example it wouldn't make sense for Dundee to still be bearing the cost of these buses, but for all the revenue to go to West Midlands Travel.

So who is bearing the cost of the repaints then? as every time a red and white bus goes south it comes back 2 tone drab green

Only transfers that were rushed up to Dundee in red/white have returned to NXWM for refurb / repaint (1787 & 4714 etc). Only because they should have been done prior to cascade. All other repaints are done in Scotland. 731 again was repainted prior to returning to Dundee.

Been told that 4606 and 4609 have now transferred from Birmingham Central to Walsall. I believe 4607 and 4608 should be following too.

4606 has transferred
4609 is still showing as dead at BC, so if it has moved I need to report the tracker

There is a photo on the West Midlands Transport Facebook group of it at Walsall Garage, taken by the engineer who took it over...So I assume it has a faulty tracker then @Tony?

Tony

4607 now joined 4606 & 4609 at Walsall

4153 now joined the training fleet, currently at Walsall for conversion

4302 now withdrawn at AG

4606 is having it's first day out today since it's transfer to Walsall...It's just gone into the 51 as a change bus. It's just left Scott Arms heading to Walsall.

Have these come to WA as paint cover for the E400's? @Michael Bevan

Michael Bevan

4609 had it's first day out on a Streetly peak board this afternoon. Did a 937 onto Birmingham before doing a 935 to Walsall.
