What are these second hand buses that have gone very quiet? Or was it a myth?

Omnicity or Enviros - or not yet decided.

I was curious how the modification of 5401-5430 will be dealt with once 5409 is done - presumably would drop the fleet size for a while unless something is brought in to cover or they're done at a very slow pace - also the very small number of 10/60 plate vehicles (45 Omnilinks) must put a dent in the fleet age profile at that time and skew the average fleet age - possibly more noticeably at some point.

5409 is this being modified somehow.
Secondhand buses being brought in by west mids very very rare indeed, must be good deal for them to even consider it, from an environmental point of view it's far less damaging than buying a brand new bus.

I'm just thinking with various areas going euro 3/4 maybe it's cheaper in the long run to get 2nd hand 2010s or later buses than fitting a trap on an 18 year bus close to withdrawal?

I'd go with Coaches myself, I haven't even seen the word buses mentioned other than in speculation.

Going to operate Alton towers trip or something along those lines?

They need to decide if they are having new or second hand first!

Single deckers or coaches then?

Will there be transfers from company to company with the internal restructure you mentioned in another thread?
