874 has replaced it in paint which is the only other one.

The deckers are there for touch up after RTC repairs
For sure 871 couldn't claim to have the 'wow' factor appearing in its 'new' livery. Going to take more than a vertical blue stripe to be able to make that claim.

Thanks Jim. Any idea when they are supposed to start in service?
#33
Thanks for that Tony. Do you know where it's likely destination was?

Passed a single WMR coach on low loader heading North on M5 at Bristol on Tuesday. Not a driving unit and didn't have time to see whether it was part of a diesel or electric unit.

Thanks Tony. Still looks as though DWS offer is forging ahead. Papers going out to Stagecoach shareholders as we speak. No clear sign Nat Exp. might still be in the running.

Tony, is that 'no' Nat Ex hasn't ended its interest in Stagecoach or 'no' we don't know?
#37
Has National Express ended its interest in Stagecoach? Do we know?

Two 67's on Chester Road outside Castle Vale both apparently going to 'Birmingham via Tyburn Road". Problem, one was outbound the other inbound. In any event as far as I understand the route is never outside Birmingham so how their destination was 'Birmingham' is beyond me. Whatever happened to the more useful information of 'City Centre' and 'Castle Vale'?

National Express to takeover Stagecoach Group? Really. Would there be any implications for West Midlands operations?

Bit confused. That was the photo I was referring to. I assume it's not going into CV blue?

Thanks Tony. Realised it wasn't Moor St but wondered if it was with NXWM for any other reason.

The message is confused. On the side you see an electrical flash, a pair of legs, a pattern of diamonds and a blue sky.
Have to admit I'm not a great fan of "a pair of legs" being part of the livery. Never have been. Some might construe it as sexist. Why not a pair of walking boots?  Better to ride than walk. (tongue in cheek)

4722 what an an absolutely superb paint job. I'm sure when in service it will attract many admiring glances not to mention a lot of reminiscing. Well done NXWM. Makes you wonder why we ever let the livery disappear!
