Seems to go unnoticed on here the currently unacceptable reliability of the 49 and 76 services caused by the constant breaking down of 20 year old Tridents.

I know the 'Electric buses are delayed' excuse will be wheeled out - but the question is How much longer will this daily farce go on at the expense of providing a reliable service for the public?

Yardley Wood generally lose around 0.5% of mileage due to engineering (breakdowns or No bus available) below the industry average. DVSA expect a minimum of 99% to run

TFWM made a smart decision putting the 2,3,4,4A,5 and 6 at one stop to terminate. Causes blockage, other buses not able to pass. Would've been better keeping where the 4 was and simply taken the Queensway route like the 45 does

No they didn't, they put them on two stops, actually in the space that there used to be 3 stops. Leaving the 4 where it was would have extended the running time needed, probably needing an extra bus or reduced frquency.

If you don't like the roadworks then complain about them.

I didn't say I didn't like them. Your the one making the initial complaint about bus stops being too close, but you appear to only want to complain about things. Carrs Lane to Square peg is not a close distance to some.

WN Hybrids to they are only programed for the 1, X8 and 529 if it needs to be October this year then these will be in service by then otherwise just the Platty's to and not sure about BC's B5TL Hybrids if they would need doing

The 23/24 now stop on Carrs Lane & outside the Square Peg. Why the need to have two stops so close together?

Close together? Perhaps you might try pushing a wheelchair from one to the other through the roadworks then say they were close together

USB ports can get damaged and vandalized on any service in any area so there's no need to call out specific places.
Platinum was a good concept when new, but after the 2015/16 intake it became the new standard spec for new deliveries and as we can see with current refurbs nothing is being retrofitted. But when Walsall have some more fleet renewal I'm sure you'll see USB features on those routes.

In 2014 when those buses were ordered USBs were no standard anywhere. Most phone chargers were still 3 pin plugs, hence a lot of trains only having 3 pin sockets and not USBs

Yes they can, plenty of double deckers can go under there, but while Perry Barr has a mix of buses that can and can't it's safer just not to run any.

Here's the last double deck I saw on the 8 taken in March 2005

Did they stop using double deckers because low bridges?  Or was it another reason?

When Hockley closed it went to Bordesley garage which only ran single decks
