The timetable at the Wheatsheaf was showing RKT operating only in the evenings but the timetable in Solihull and that on Network WM website contradict this. All very mysterious.

Lets face it working PVRs out isn't that difficult where routes are their own cost centres, full timetables available on Traveline for frequent services and the odd minute given as layover.

That Solo does not meet the specification for a 'Signature' service. Emissions is irrelevant.

It is Euro 4, look at @Kevin2017's latest fleetlist for Rotala, it shows 20913 as compliant for Solihull, it's a Euro 4 Solo.

20913 often does the Peak 50's which has to be Euro 4 and compliant, so I doubt it would be used on it if it wasn't Euro 4 and compliant!

With some services it just has to be what the revenue it brings in supports. NX were going to withdraw the WN54 in April but with some clever scheduling meaning the PVR is reduced to two vehicles, and also some good negotiating by the commercial manager resposible for the route it is going to survive, but the timetable won't be perfect.

The 878 is a tendered service so the service is dictated to scc requirements as is the 67

As for the 71, I believe if we never took on the service there would of been no service at all on a satutday as scc has removed funding off a number of satutfay services in Cannock so our 71 every 2 hours is better than no bus at all

I'm not on about the 878 or the 67 particularly, although the 877/878 is a good case in point with a very messy schedule.

Same as the 12, which again has a timetable that the average bus user would struggle to comprehend.

As for the 71, there is a 4 hour gap from Cannock between 1200 and 1600 according to Traveline. I'm sure that is going to do wonders for the patronage figures.

I have used your services but they are of little use to me due to their irregular patterns and lack of adequate Saturday provision on most services.

It makes sense to sell advertising space on the fleet, maybe even consider involving the whole group. It's another valuable revenue stream.

A better thought perhaps would be to use the said 'space' to market their own Services and promote bus usage to hopefully enhance revenues that way given how little some of these Advertising deals produce...
