Not a spotter as such, but I'm sure I saw "wbdriver" this morning driving the 5.

where and what time if you can remember matt?

plus 2 young chaps in the bus station about 11.45 yesterday morning taking photos and waving at drivers.

Hmm... this was Friday morning, say around 11:50am in West Brom?

yep that'll be right. just taking over 4054 for 3 and a half hours (2 trips). freezing cold bus as well.
an empty bus is a happy driver.

Stop whinging and put a coat on!! (That's what was usually said back over the radio after a change bus was requested!)

One thing Daimler Mercedes Benz are good at is producing excellent Diesel engines, I do miss the sound of the 0405n for all its faults you couldn't knock that 12 litre engine.

But surely, the bus is your place of work and it should be reasonably warm like any workplace, plus if the driver is to cold, surely his mind will be more on that, and not on driving the bus which could cause an accident.
Pensnett is my local garage. Favourite bus of all time is Fleetline 6360 (KON 360P).

Well obviously I was only pulling your leg. I don't think the management want drivers who can't feel their toes to be trying to stop a 12ton lump!
