I did notice that myself last week, there unusually seemed to be no sign of the Sunny Travel 71E, or KV03ZFU (Sunny Travels bus) on Thursday and Friday. Does anyone know if there is any reason for Sunny Travels absence on the route?
It seems to be that the 71E operated by Sunny Travel has gone missing over the last few days.
It never turned up while I was in Solihull (15:51 from Solihull), last week, 4731 turned up and the next bus behind that seemed to be the next departure from Solihull (RK Travel 72). And there was no sign of it heading back in the other direction while I was on the bus to the Wheatsheaf either.

Same 3 vehicles on today. It is sometimes difficult to work out the ownership of the vehicles as they do not keep to the timetables and probably loan to one another. ZFS does not seem to have notice of ownership.

They don't ever loan them between operators, from what i've seen.
NA52AXN is opeating for RK and has there legals on it, it operated the 08:10 from the Wheatsheaf, very overcrowded (It was the day before that as well) - it could have done with a long single decker (especially if that trip is that busy every day) as there were people who looked like they wanted to get on but couldn't as there was physically no more room, but on time the other day - looking back at the timetables that would have been its first trip of the day.

I noticed a difference in the fares the other day, not sure if its the route or the operator, that is the reason for the difference in fares, but the other day I noticed:
Social Travel (SK51AYC) on the 11C have 50p tickets with NX and Concessionary passes and cheaper fares off peak.
RK ravel which I went on 20 minutes later (NA52AXN) have a flat £1.50 fare.
They certainly seem to be a bit different on the 11 then, they always seem to turn up roughly on time, or just a few minutes late, unless theres a big delay somewhere and when they are extremly late i've seen them running out of service to enter service back where they are timetabled to be on the route.
I've seen and been on the 07:39 Social Travel 11C from Ward End regularly very regularly over the last 3 years and I can only recall it being late once and that was when the Aston Expressway was shut in May 2017 (it turned up just after 08:00, just over 20 minutes late). There are fair few who seemingly prefer to use it over the NX Bus and will seemingly wait for it and pay 50p everyday as well (its usually full to the seating capacity by the time it gets to the swan).

After a gap of over a week, since at least last Wednesday, Sunny Travel and KV03ZFU were back on the 71E today.
Though I didn't get a proper look and only saw the display briefly as I was on the X2, it seemed to be yet agian displaying 72 intead of there registered route number - 71E.

No, the DAFs and the the W reg are no longer in use.

Allocations tend to be as follows as present across Sunny/Social/DTS/RK:
KV03ZFU - 71E.
KV03ZFS - 72.
NA52AXN - 72.
KXZ4299 - 72.
SK51AYC - 11C.
YT51DZZ - 11C.
SJ53AXG - 11C.
KV03ZFW - 11A.
KV03ZFN - 11A.

* The vehicles on the 11 operate in that order as well.
Additionally DTS are also timetabled to operate one Monday only 966 round trip, but I don't know what they use on that.

NA52AWZ was a regular on the72 until KV03ZFS appeared. SN51SXU may have been the 966 a couple of weeks ago.

I have passed KV03ZFU at least 8 times in December and each time it has been displaying 72 not 71E.

KV03ZFU was parked up on the Coventry Rd earlier at the Lyndon Rd (X1/X2/60 City Centre Bound stop) seemingly broken down for quite a long time this afternoon.
Looking abandoned.

No. He works for Claribels.

Sunny Travel also just run the 1 bus now. The others seem to run from the RK/DTS licence so just the 1 bus that won't run presumably.
