You said exactly the same about 1009 a month ago and you were corrected and told it wasn't withdrawn and why. So why post the same again? 4845 has been VOR since September 2022 and that's coming back now so they are getter there will long time absences

H1009 has NOT been withdrawn, but is off the road long-term for some reason not yet stated.

Can we please keep this topic for discussion of vehicles that are actually known to be withdrawn?

4570 has been rescued from the scrap line at Walsall and taken to Yardley Wood who are looking to see if they can MoT it and reinstate it to replace Scania 1914 which has a blown engine.

Trident for a Scania?
sounds like a good deal

Tony

4570 has just passed a new MoT, so may be out in service from YW this afternoon

Tony

4566 & 4567 both have expired MoTs now, but it looks like Walsall are going to extend the life of 4566 and MoT it later this week.

4125 currently out of service. Is that due an MOT?

No, just waiting for an exhaust clean.

Will they stay at Walsall or be transferred?

Only one is staying and is already back in service at Walsall is 4566.  4567 won't be back I don't think

I saw 4566 on the 37 last night it would have done the 23:05 37 to Darlaston. I saw it heading to Walsall in Darlaston

I see the BusTimes 'ghouls' have been racing to 'be the first' again.

Why can't people wait until it has been 'officially confirmed'?

Here's the photo that was linked to there:

It is not yet withdrawn.

The bus is repairable, but at more than book value, so unlikely to be repaired, but until a decision is made it is not withdrawn despite those rather threatening comments from the 'I'm right so don't change it' person who is not actually right!

Being Euro 6 when an application is in to extend the use of not euro 6 may sway the decision yet.

Gareth

I'm just amazed that anyone can edit anything on site.

Westy

It's a bit like Wikipedia isn't it?

Anyone can edit that within reason, apart from a few 'protected' subjects!
