National Express West Midlands / Bus station annoncments?
November 07, 2012, 08:06:43 PM
In this day and age would it not be possible for upto data annoucmenionsts to be provided at bus stations? Have now beeen waiting for 20 mins for the 1935, 89 service to High Heath. (service desination Wolverhampton). The pre recorded announcements remind me i cant smoke on this bus station (i dont smoke but thanks) and to ask a interchange assistant for info! Try finfing one! Mr Gough dont work past 6pm, he is the only one you can get an answer from and after 6pm you cant find a interchange assistant!!!!!! I really cant belive we cant do things better!

National Express West Midlands / What no change?
October 23, 2012, 07:09:34 PM
I have just boarded an arriva bus from Walsall to Pelsall. As a nx travel card holder i just couldnt be bothered to wait for there 89 service. The bus 3762 is immaculate, nice and warm and no rattles. The fare was a standard £1.90 and i gave the driver a £2 coin, i was informed no change, now i dont mind that but a number of passengers boarding after me were also told the same. Is it not arriva policy to give chamge? And who gets all of those 10p? Ok rant over npw time for a beer in the Railway.

The Archive / tamworth bus&coach 178.
June 17, 2012, 06:44:50 PM
I cant belive how good this coach looks. I remember driving her when she was in the london liner fleet at central coachways. They also operated D932ODA which was the prototype of the MCW 400GT. Only 3 of them were ever built YT buying the 3rd. These were a big improvement on the cummims engined metroliners we were used to has they had a massive gardner engine i  them. I think YT replaced them with scania engines at some point. Would be nice to see one of these preserved.

The Archive / Save 1401.
May 06, 2012, 12:14:20 AM
Would it be possible for 1401 to be reinstated to WA?. Lots of surples b10s from AG  are being sent to WA so it would it would be a good last few months for her to return back to her home garage. Perhapes 1470 could also see out her days at WA. I spent many happy hours driving them both on the 301s.
