Looks as though Harry Shaw have recently taken delivery of at least 3 x Volvo B11R / Caetano Levantes tri-axle for NX route 230 - BX65WCR/WCO/WCT

@B61 ANDREW - Thanks for pointing that out. The 230 is a former Yourbus route which was taken off them for poor performance. The title of the photogrpahs & subsequent comments do not fill me with convindence - 'how the mighty have fallen' / possibly lost of load of tour work / poor tour reviews / potentially reported to VOSA / 27 drivers short for NX work......

Had a nice surprise yesterday as catching our return Setra coach to Larnaca airport on Cyprus , after about ten minutes into our journey, I noticed that on the pouches for holding newspapers etc on the back of coach seats was the wording "Harry Shaw City Cruisers". With some research and a lot of trawling through photo's on Flickr , I have found that we were travelling on the former BX04NCC , now carrying TKVH771 and owned by Xanthos Coaches of Larnaca.    8)

Always next time !! !! I have some more "research" to do to try and identify a couple of Wright bodied buses - suggestions that they could of been ex-BakerBus and an Optare bodied bus in red livery which may or may not of been ex-London Buses.   ;)

It is being reported Harry Shaw has taken over some or all of the Harrington t/a Bakers work from Reaseheath college.

I went out today and they do appear to be covering their work.
TIL6715, MJI7514, GU52WSY, WX53WFP, RJI6155 ex Damory plus PO17EJN, YN14MVX, PO58HOJ.
.
Presumably they have a local OC.

Last weeks N&P has Harrington's licence revoked after a public enquiry and today's without one!
;
Surprised Shaw hasn't added a local OC.

At least two MAN/Mobipeople are PO68BYT/U for Reaseheath college work  - the latter at least carries branding "way ahead in Staffordshire and Cheshire" rather than Reaseheath logos.

On Reaseheath 4 today was BL64MFN ex Abingdon Coaches - it had legals for Irizar, Worksop which seems odd for a dealer hire.

Hello,

Not been on the forum myself for a while but any Harry Shaw/Expat questions I will try my best to answer!

As looked at above, the Tourismo with 'Harry Shaw' on the side in blue, is 3 KOV, Ex BU14SYS and is mainly used on the contract routes.

Mercedes Vario/Plaxton Cheetah SF08FTA is being re painted into the new orange (the same orange as BV19YKX/YKY), I have had a sneaky look, and it looks absolutely brilliant.

Hi for light relief I research fleets. I've attached what I believe to be the current fleet.

My question is what is the the original registration of H5HST?

Thanking you in advance.

Tony sorry to be a pain, but this leaves me with YN16UAD, again I know to be reregistered but suspect has left the fleet.

The rest of the fleet seems to be correct and you are more than welcome to use the data if it helps.

Best wishes.
