Ok if I thought First couldn't get any more bonkers I've been proven wrong yet again.
They have bought 3 Connex Jersey Dart SLF Caetano Nimbus busese to replace some of there older buses in service, trouble is how wide are they and secondly they arent going to be that long either.
And people in Redditch are moaning, Crumbs think of what silly plans they would have come up with if they hadn't sold RH and KR off.
It has been suggested elsewhere that First Group may have acquired the entire batch of 21
If you scroll down the web page below, there are pictures of them being loaded on to a cargo ship

Id like to know the fleetnumbers! I wish they'd buy 30 or so LF deckers to displace Volvo Olympians, which in turn would clear out the last Leyland Olympians, Volvo Citybuses and Dennis Arrows!

The only way First could buy LF deckers in that quantity would be to buy ex London deckers from one of leasing agents, there appear to be growing numbers of 52/53 plate deckers no for sale
I wonder if these are intended to replace the 50/51/52xxx Mercedes-Benz midibuses?

One that nearly caught me out this afternoon is a new arrival at Worcester, Trident 33042 (LN51 DWG); registration is so similar to 33043 already there (LN51 DVG).
A photo of 33042 will be on the main site soon
Two of the six ex jersey darts are in Worcester 43869/71 branded for Worcester. Tho I do wonder if they are still limited to 30 MPH.
Two more of the ex jersey darts are in Worcester 43870/43874.

Oh sounds like that could be fun for some of the routes out of Worcester as I'm going to guess they will find there way round even if its just for a laugh lol
The ex Jersey Darts are 43854-75.

3 second-hand ex Premiere Travel buses have arrived at First Worcester in the shape of MX10DXU (E200), FN08AZZ & PJ59JPT (Both E300's). They are all still in their previous owners colours. These along with others are thought to be to allow the ex Veolia B7RLE/Plaxton Centro's 66691-9 to cascade to Leicester (has been suggested)
Take it first arent buying many or any new buses for Worcester/Potteries then? Id dread to think what the average PMT fleet age is lol. Prior to a few solos recently I think the newest buses were the 06 omnicitys on the 101?

Not heard of any new buses destined for either Worcester/Potteries, it looks as though they will get second-hand or newer cascades only. The newest buses delivered to Potteries new are the 06 Omnicity's
Thats pretty poor really to be fair, looking at the fleet list there looks like there are loads of old scanias and a number of ageing darts. Id have thought pmt would be quite a profitable operation

Sorry Winston didnt mean to be short but out of interest, where is this ensign sales log as i have heard it mentioned before and never found it and does anyone else find the ensignbus website useless-it doesnt list most of the stuff they have acquired and is for sale so buses can be sold that were never on the website or in the route one adverts? just interested as to access the sales log of the uk's biggest dealer would be really useful.
