Route D1 & D2 are extending to Rugby via the current 10 and 12 routes.
Route 11 is renumbered D4

It all starts on the 5th November 2017.

The header refers to route 96, but there is no other reference - presumably its withdrawn?

I understand the extended D1 and D2 will be operated by Rugby depot, except for occasional journeys.

From the start of this week, Rugby's 10 and 12 (Rugby - Daventry) have been combined with Northampton's D1 and D2 (Northampton - Daventry) to provide a through Rugby - Northampton service numbered D1 and D2.  Northampton's D3 service to Daventry via the villages is unchanged.  Rugby's service 11, Long Buckby to Daventry, is now D4.
D1 and D2 are now operated by Rugby which brings Rugby's Dart/Pointers to Northampton on a regular basis.  They include examples such as 34592 which, several years ago, was branded for the Daventry Darts.

Some Northampton E200s have presumably been moved to Rugby, probably those branded for the Daventry services.  Confirmation from the Warwickshire Stagecoach experts would be very welcome.

34627 (which is meant to be Nuneaton Reserve) was out on the D1 / D2 today. Looking at the timetable, I think that Northampton may be still operating some journeys which start at Northampton, as well as the D3 service. I never saw any of the D1 / D2 / D3 branded buses today.

@DeanM66A no E200s have gone to Rugby, they are using ex-Warwick E200s and Darts.

Thanks for the reply.  And as Adam 404 implied in his reply, presumably some turns are still worked by Northampton.  Three of the five D1/2s I saw on Thursday were 3706Xs.
Whatever, the Darts won't be coming to Northampton for long; before long Rugby will be almost entirely E200.

Mids buses

Four E200s have moved from Northampton to Rugby, 37065 to 37068 inclusive. All of the Monday to Saturday D1/D2 is Rugby worked, the D3 remains worked by Northampton. All the D2/D3 on a Sunday is worked by Northampton. Some of the short journeys on the D4 to Timken Estate are worked by Northampton off the D3, the rest of the D4 is worked by Rugby (as was the case when it was previously the 11). 34627 is currently acting as repaint cover.

And thanks from me for posting that.  All clarified now.  Now we wait to see whose Dart/Pointers will be replaced by the ex 48 E200s.

I hear most of Kettering's and Corby's Darts will go.
