Last years cutting short of the 16 to the hospital from town via Stoke Aldermoor and the Igo 26 sticking plaster solution is poor.

Why not re-instate 16 back on full route from hospital but after Stoke A. send it down Humber Rd, London Rd, Daventry Rd, Quinton Rd, train station and then to town. Will fill a missing gap in travel needs.

I think there was some funding involved (presumably covering the costs between the Warwickshire Shopping Park and the Hospital) and that came to an end in July 2016, hence the 16/16A finishing at the Shopping Centre. I guess Quinton Rd, Daventry Rd and London Rd etc are adequately served already.

Well that idea is a throwback to the peak service 44 linking Ernesford Grange with the Rail Station and City Centre, the chopping and changing of operators probably resulted in it's demise.

My ideas:
Divert the 60 to serve WSP in Binley but no longer serve JLR in Whitley, the 26 can then short cut past Binley Church allowing additional time to extend as far as JLR Whitley via Asda, overall the mileages would be about the same. :o
Ideally JLR should be linked to the Rail Station and City Centre or at least served more thoughout the day by one of the Stagecoach routes.

this idea also introduces a direct service to the station from this part of esst Coventry - sadly lacking at moment. If NX wont do it then could be one for TDC to look at?

Thats really not a good idea, London road, daventry road are served by the 21 which is also a viable station bus (with a 5 min walk)
Quinton road is already served by the 23/23A which is also a viable station bus. The station is at max capacity really with the 8,9 and 11/12 already serving it
the 16 that ran from the shopping park to the hospital was most of the time pretty much empty the 16's passengers are mostly city centre to SA or Ernsford grange even the shopping park doesnt load or unload that many passengers really for a 10 min service you really dont want another hospital bus heading into the station when the 9/9a is a direct route and the 8 comes from very nearby too
