does not look too good if they are running a none dda compliant  bus after public inquiry.

Is it DDA compliant?
It's registered as a coach, so it's fine for use on registered bus services until 1/1/2020

Not 100%  sure but i think it  may be additional to the 2l L  As they do not have enough  vehicles  that are dda, and big enough for number of people carried . and  there 291 service is not very good

Diamond lost the 2L contract to R&B I been told R&B are apparently investing in a brand new bus for it.

Just out of curiosity, why do you find the 291 service to be not very good?

That suggests that R&B registered it commercially.

Only the off-peak trips are subsidised. Diamond currently run the peak journeys commercially.

Which says Shropshire Council is committed to providing a peak hour service between Ludlow and Cleobury Mortimer and will operate it themselves if no contractor is found.

Quite a significant reduction in journey times there then

Didn't think skipping the estates either side of Bewdley would save that much time
Now in exile in Oxfordshire....

I thought it might, when I travel to and from Bewdley and Kidderminster I always catch the 125 rather than the 2/2L even though it is half the frequency.

It is so tedious travelling around the estates on that part of the route and that doesn't even include the saving on the other side of Bewdley which the new 291 will also benefit from!

This is a significant reduction in service provision.

Isn't it crazy to think that 20 years ago there was an hourly 192 from Birmingham to Ludlow with 2 hourly extension Hereford.

Now the Ludlow Hereford section is now split at Leominster,  292 is an offpeak 2 hourly service and the 192 runs to Halesowen only.
