Its, Wheeleys Road the deckers can't use, I think.
The deckers can go don't Edgbaston Park Road, I saw a WB 47XX E400 on Edgbaston Park Road the other week and Traveline WM and the NX Website shows the 885 (towards King Edwards) uses Edgbaston Park Road as well and the 885 uses AG Gemini.

Yes the 885 does use Edgbaston Park Rd towards the school, the old 21 route used it too for a short time. Maybe they've cut the trees back on Wheeleys Rd, can't say I've noticed but it certainly did look like it would be precarious sending a double decker down there with low hanging trees.

@Mike K ask diamond buses, they send their deckers down low hanging trees and I am surprised the windows ay smashed yet

The tree branches on Wheeleys are a bit low but still not a big issue. The bus wouldn't be allocated if it was unsafe. It's a good excuse for those drivers who will find any reason to cut mileage.

Very well done to the driver of 6888 for standing up to fare dodger, shame they more than likely just got the bus behind. Where is the incentive for these people to buy a ticket when they can just get on another bus. Bring back inspectors and see the change!

Bring back inspectors? - What are you on about again. There are more revenue inspectors now than ever in the history of buses in this area.

Just keep them on buses then, there's no point in having them at few bus stops whilst majority can go between stops without question

Wonder what the figures for fare dodgers are then. You claim you get more and more money each year through revenue inspectors, yet I bet the potential amount is significantly higher

Of course the potential amount is higher, but you are never going to get it all without checking every bus at every bus stop.

Inspectors riding on buses discourages fare dodging, but doesn't get many fines issued, so doesn't cover the inspectors costs so easily.

4179 now has advert removed

Bashed 4179 on an outbound 14 yesterday, absolutely hellfire...plenty of power and made all the right noises. 18years old and not a single rattle. True quality units.

The worn Red Bull advert gave it some character.

As a side note....do BC run their Euro 4 Tridents on a Saturday?

They are often found on the 14.
