Interesting of Stagecoach to order Geminis!

Yes it is but there isn't much other choice for new open toppers apart from Volvo B5TL/MCV EvoSetis

Union Rep told me that an official bid was put in for 25 Gold spec single decks for Nuneaton route 48, but whether or not that has been accepted is yet to be announced.
Plans for transfers have been bounced around including 14 MAN E200s to Rugby, some of 36153-76 will be on 55/56/57 with others going off to Corby/Kettering - That is not confirmed though and is only hearsay, only the bid is official.

36175 and 36176 are in Chester!

A breakdown of types/quantities on order this year:

Very interesting to see they are buying 18 Streetlites Micro Hybrids for Sheffield and good to see them buying the Scania E400s in quantity again after only 1 batch last year for Kent

The issue with Scania was down to the fans on the buses. The Streetlites are for use on service 1 as part of the Sheffield bus partnership-First already use them on that route.

Did wonder why there was less Scanias and did think there would be a reason for it, thanks for the info @markcf83

I thought exactly the same  @Dylanbusboy45 !  Does anyone know where the Levantes are for?

340 vehicles is not a lot at all

With a current fleet strength of over 9000 vehicles that figure each year would mean vehicle lives of around 25 years

Levantes for Chesterfield I believe.  Still two 60-plate Elites on National Express there so presume they are to replace those.
