Hope they don't go back to the original route of the 178 (or 177 or whichever one it was), would be better if it was a sort of "to Redditch then to Woodrow / Hospital / wherever", because if I'm honest I thought that's what the problem with the original route was, it didn't go direct enough for anyone going to Redditch, instead going on a magical mystery tour of the suburbs

One of the Scanias was at the stop in Moreton-in-Marsh station yard as the 13.18 HST from Hereford arrived and I was just debating whether to leap off when it left!

I was thinking the same thing.  With the 146 is basically useless now with gaps in service during the day, and early finishing,  and the 143 curtailed to Bromsgrove ... the X50 is the only viable alternative to the train now that a regular frequency has been restored.

From the timetable it appears that the new 150 will run from Redditch direct to the Alexandra Hospital via Woodrow (as opposed to Headless Cross, Crabbs Cross and Oakenshaw),and then run as per the 178 route from the Alexandra Hospital to Birmingham.

I saw one before on the X20, and they both blend in and stand out against the Omnilinks that frequently appear on the 6 and 37 along the Stratford Road.  8)

New OmniLink 'HKZ' seems to becoming a regular on the X20, and 'HKY' a regular on the X50. Keep seeing them both on those routes

Shame I keep missing the Volvo ALX400 on the X20  :(

jc

An ALX400 SN53 plater on X50, would have been 0700ish from Redditch

Is that an Ex London United Trident I wonder? Some of those are 'SN53' plated

Was it in Johnsons livery?
