Changes to 182/183 start 15th April 2024 with journeys on this Mon-Fri service also serving Longbridge railway station and Barnt Green.

Mercedes mini 20988 seems to be allocated to this service ,so far .    

SP04 DBX is in the yard but will be gone shortly.

I was going to ask for observations as to rail replacement vehicles being used on the Lichfield line but I see that Tony has kindly posted some photos. 

The bus has gone !   Any further sightings ??

Certainly not the longest distance but must be the route that takes the longest and most convoluted way to go not very far - Kev's 55 takes 1 hour 49 to get from Quinton to Longbridge.

Anyone out there actually done this route from end to end ??

Scania PR71BEC has had its fleet names removed. 

314 PFM.  New to Crosville in 1960 and later saw service with Western National. And it certainly has been a resident at Kidderminster for some time. So '2206' is probably correct in saying it has been there since last autumn.   

 I did not know that they had acquired the 06 Solo ,I will have to hunt it down !  It was new to Bebbs of Llanwit Fardre.   F22SSE was new to St Dunstans , Brighton , a rehab centre for blind veteran service personel . It is recorded as a "DP" vehicle , as well as the above mentioned curtains , it has coach style seats and also I have seen it out on a private hire with tables fitted.    

Midland Red net forum says 35152 is at Worcester awaiting a new engine.   

The 66 plate Boa Vista's will be too old, they'll be 8 years old this Autumn. I suspect they will all be returned off lease & sold off including the 18 plate examples.

Thanks as ever winston.  I can think of one [East] Midland operator who uses double deck coaches on Scania chassis who could be interested if the Boa Vista's come on the market. 

The Boa Vistas have been on the network for 7 years.
These are the replacements the announcement was made by National Express themselves several weeks ago

Does anyone have any idea what will happen with the Boa Vista's ?? Are there any other NX routes that would have a use for such vehicles or will they get sold off ?? 

Very nice !  Their recent full size coaches have been Scania's I think.

And look to now have moved to Yutong's with both YD73FPV and YD73FOV on rail replacement work at Coventry today.
