Not surprised at the 25 going which just carries fresh air it seems.

Lists a lot of tendered services facing axe in some way.
Some evening & sunday journeys. Other daytime or off peak dayime services. Included in the list are NXWM BC 25 & WB 10/10S.
Also says NXWM to cut some school services.

11S, 27S, 49S, 73S and 897 cancelled. Most of those have alternative journeys on the regular services 11A, 49, 73, 27/76.

New notice on 4843 says
"From Sunday 3rd October there will be some frequency changes on some services to improve reliability. Please see our website for more info"

4921 also displaying 45E West Hth on the rear display as well. Don't normally see destination on the rear.

Edit - these timetables are now on NX site.
94/95 seem to be combine to 5 minutes to Ward End and every 10 minutes beyond.
X1/X2 remain at every 15 minutes during the peak times it seems, now decrease off peak to every 20 mins. With Coventry journeys being increased to run every 20 minutes all day - no more short workings to International for most of the day.

Few of these starting to appear on the VOSA site and some look most strange at present particularly the new 20.
From 80 registration. Looks like 80A is going to be renumbered to 80, as the 80A number has gone.
https://www.vehicle-operator-licensing.service.gov.uk/search/find-registered-local-bus-services/details/580834/

46 Queen Elizabeth Hospital to Northfield via Kings Norton & Hawkesley.
https://www.vehicle-operator-licensing.service.gov.uk/search/find-registered-local-bus-services/details/580825/

And whats happening with the 1A? The number seems to have been removed from the registration?
https://www.vehicle-operator-licensing.service.gov.uk/search/find-registered-local-bus-services/details/580814/

Just noticed 1A is being renumbered 41? Is there some sort of change to the route, otherwise seems strange to renumber for no reason at all?
https://www.vehicle-operator-licensing.service.gov.uk/search/find-registered-local-bus-services/details/580819/

27 also says Maypole to Cofton Hackett?
https://www.vehicle-operator-licensing.service.gov.uk/search/find-registered-local-bus-services/details/580874/

X20 registration changed to 20 QE to Cofton Hackett via Selly Oak, Northfield, Longbridge, Rednal sounds bizzare? Why are they stopping it from going into the City Centre?
Will the X21/X22 be increased in frequency to compensate for loss of journeys from the QE Hospital/University into Town on a major corridor.
https://www.vehicle-operator-licensing.service.gov.uk/search/find-registered-local-bus-services/details/580877/
As 20 is not going to City Centre maybe it won't be run by BC and run by YW instead perhaps, interworked with another QE service such as 46?

77 cancelled.

Wonder what the worst route from Birmingham Garages PB/BC/AG/YW is for unreliability?
I was on 7022 on 8A from Sparkbrook this afternoon, there were 2 other omnilinks in front one with full standing load 7023, 7028, 7022. And also passed 3 Omnilinks together on 8C on Ash Road in Alum Rock area, the front one 1810 with a full standing load.
I guess 8 must be bad with lots of inner city trafffic. As lots of traffic on Ash Road and Golden Hillock Road in Small Heath for instance.

Also 1811 was on the 94 in Ward End.

National Express West Midlands / New Website.
December 08, 2020, 06:27:11 PM
Looks like NXWM have a new website.
https://nxbus.co.uk/west-midlands
https://nxbus.co.uk/west-midlands/services-timetables/55-birmingham-chelmsley-wood
https://nxbus.co.uk/west-midlands/services-timetables/x20-birmingham-cofton-hackett

Would have thought 51 & X51 and 55 & 94 should be shown as related services as well. Like X12/X70 and X20/X21/X22.

National Express West Midlands / November Changes.
October 23, 2020, 07:05:01 PM
https://nxbus.co.uk/west-midlands/miscellaneous/service-changes-from-1st-novemeber-2020

Not good advice from NX to catch 55 and then X70 as several roads to cross which don't have proper crossing facilities/traffic lights around the Huters Moon area to get from that service to the X70. As well as the fact that they stop some distance away from each other.

"Students can use services 55 and 94 as far as Hunters Moon then service X70 to Park Hall Academy."

Noticed this earlier. Well if drivers can't enforce people to wear face coverings what chance does some random person on the street have at getting them to wear one.
I doubt many people would be up for doing this.

Also in regards to those that do sign up for this. Makes you wander if they get any sort of training in regards to people with hidden exemptions before they are allowed to do this. As someone in a pink hi vis trying to force an exempt person on to put a mask on doesn't sound very good either.

And last time I checked onboard notices advised against passengers enforcing it and suggested being considerate to other passengers onboard.
Surely enforcement is more a matter for police rather than random people and if NX want more enforcing this rule why not use their own staff such as inspectors?

Notice 6124 has a new 11C display. No via points on the display and where they were it now has the word "CLOCKWISE", there.
Wander if they will all be getting this new display.

Noticed NX have put Christmas period timetables on the website for 2019.

For some reason the 55 has been missed out and isn't listed under any of the sections: not operating, operating a normal sunday service, or as having an amended timetable on Boxing Day.

Looks like this will be making a return, as it operated back in 2016 with 6702 as well.
Route is slightly different in 2019, no longer going up to Five Ways like I believe it did in 2016.

https://nxbus.co.uk/west-midlands/information/service-changes/service-changes-from-27th-october-2019
- 10H cut to operate between QE Hospital and City Centre only. 15:55 from QE Hospital to City Centre will no longer operate.
This revised 10H will most likely continue to run empty all day, as the areas this route serves have much more frequent and better services.
- 10S will be cut to operate between Quinton and Selly Oak only.

Registration of a new school service to Wilnecote and Fazeley, areas NX currently don't operate in:
https://www.vehicle-operator-licensing.service.gov.uk/search/find-registered-local-bus-services/details/535623/

Registration of the changes to the 58/99 as well:
58 Solihull to Kingshurst:
https://www.vehicle-operator-licensing.service.gov.uk/search/find-registered-local-bus-services/details/535860/
32 Shirley to Lyndon:
https://www.vehicle-operator-licensing.service.gov.uk/search/find-registered-local-bus-services/details/535880/

Notice there are variations to a few other services as well such as:
X1/X2, 49, 74, 6, 72, 73, 16, X12, 5, 31, 1/A and 50.
Presumably other than the X12, the others are just amendments to the timetable?

I've just come across this.
Does anyone know how this works, (e.g where they get this info from)? Seems to be pleanty of buses tracking down in Cornwall and Xplore Dundee buses as well.
No West Midlands buses seem to be showing on there other than strangely 4 Wolverhampton B7RLE seem to be showing up on this tracker such as 2013?

Consultation on service changes to Diamonds Signature Services and Igo's 69 - including extending Igo's 69 into Solihull to replace the S15 and extending the operating hours of the S1's replacement.

General Discussion, Questions & Route Suggestions / Snap.
September 22, 2018, 06:21:13 PM
Just noticed this.
Never heard of this before, seems the Birmingham services have recently been set up.
On Demand coach travel between Birmingham (Aston Uni/Bullring/Moseley/Selly Oak and B'ham Uni//Bournville (Cadbury World/Kings Norton) and London/Worcester/Oxford/Bristol - £5.00 a seat.
Has anyone see any of these and seen what there passenger loads are like?
There website does say they use - Birmingham International Coaches, Astons Coaches, Johnsons Coaches, Prospect Coches, Solus Coaches and Travel Decourcey.

I saw the Scania E400 MMC demonstrator YN16CFU on the Coventry Road (A45) in Birmingham this morning while I was on 6833 on the X2 (as it overtook 6833 at the Coventry Road, Lyndon Road stop)  - it had come from Yardley, Swan and crossed Sheldon, Wheatsheaf at 10:20 going towards Birmingham Airport.
I was very surprised to see this in Birmingham.
Does anybody know what this bus was doing in the West Midlands and where it had come from and was going to?
