4141; 4143; 4145; 4146; 4170 now all in the top yard at Miller Street

It may be necessary to clear Pensnett of withdrawn vehicles if they need to set up charging points for the electric buses for the 120.

I note Scania Bendibuses 6022/32 left for scrap recently - so that type has disappeared from the fleet, in fact just five articulated vehicles remain in service (at Coventry). 6012 went to PVS, and by the sounds of it, 6016 has gone there too.

Are 4141/43/45/46/70 considered withdrawn or in reserve? - sometimes there isn't much difference between the two.

I'm guessing space is being freed up to allow the vehicles ultimately replaced by the 38 new buses and any other changes to be parked up for either spares recovery or resurrection if required - 11 Bendies could = berths for 20 odd normal length buses?

These days quite a number of the reserve buses do end up resurrected back in service but the days of having garages (Lea Hall and Miller St) full of long withdrawn buses which never see service again has long gone I would think.

Current 'special passenger validation' permit held.

Eleven bendy buses are about the length of eighteen double deckers if you leave a gap of a foot between them.
Don't judge me until you've walked in my size ten shoes.

Imagine BC somehow became the only garage without standard buses. Standard as in Crimson/Red & White. So Platinums, Hybrids, Electric and maybe even coaches lol.

Electric charging points don't need to be inside a garage, Go Ahead London's Waterloo depot that houses their entire fleet of fully Electric BYD/ADL E200MMC on former Red Arrow routes 507 & 521 are charged outside. The depot setup of an open plan yard with only a covered engineering bay is very much the same as Pensnett.

More likely they don't trust PN drivers with them :-P
