Not like they're the only one to have access to information and things they really shouldn't have access to...

Hi,

What's happened to 30201 and 30211?

Many thanks

30211 is withdrawn, and has been for a while as it was being stripped for spares when i went to the depot a few weeks back.
30201 is VOR.

Are all tenders up for renewal end of October does that mean Sunday 36/41 35/77 could change operators.

No. The only Walsall tenders up for renewal were the 3A and the Evening and Sunday 19s.

Was fine when it was on the 301 when I was working on Walsall Bus Station the other evening.

Not everything is screwed up permanently, you know...
And for the record, it was like that Thursday. Glitches out seemingly, meaning the lower line seems to ''jump'' to the top, overlapping it.

It's 12 years old, older than all of NXWM's Enviro 400s and up to 4830 don't comply by 2020 and Even the Hybrids don't by 2021!

Not sure where you got the idea a 60 plate (registered latter half of 2010, first 3 months of 2011), would be 12 years old in 2018 (8 years later, well 7 and a bit). The reg is YX60 DXF...

So you saying it's ok to kill people with poor air quality if you reduce another way people die?

And just so someone can use an unmodified ancient bus?

Thing is, it can't even be close to possible that most of the emissions that cause said pollution come from buses alone.

This is what p*sses me off about these LEZs, they aren't that. Ancient, and I mean, ancient, cars and taxis can still be used, yet the second an unmodified bus enters the city, god help that operator!
If that was me in the position of the mayor, the first thing I'd be  working on, to tackle the air pollution, is either reducing the number of cars in the city, or reducing the number of polluting cars, make cars and taxis (possibly lorries as well)  abide to the same Euro 4/5/6 standard that buses have to.

But hey, that's one way to lose public support... because they'll only support you as long as they get the benefits, but not lose anything at all.  ::). Same people who claim "we pay taxes, therefore we can have a 1995 Ford Focus which speed out half it's exhaust every time I pull away, because that doesnt affect air quality at all..." probably, as well...

Also, to a previous point, the ex GHA Solos were likely bought for simply being compliant, rather than having a high spec interior.
