Definately the smartest looking bus in the First Leicester fleet

Gemini  32645 has joined 32647 at Worcester to cover for rail replacement work. Can't imagine 32646 coming over too now to join the sequence!! Be good if Worcester had a Enviro or Trident painted in Midland red colours like was done previously.

Volvo B7RLE 66965 - KX05 MJF has been returned to First Leicester following repaint, at Rotherham, into 1924 Tilling Stevens style livery. The bus carries fleet number 5.

66965 and the other heritage repaint, 32646, should be taking part in a "90th Anniversary of Motorbuses" cavalcade, along with any other heritage buses which show up, on July 24th, 2014 (90 years to the day that motorbuses commenced operation in the city). It should start from the Town Hall at 1130 hours before heading up to St. Philip's Church (Evington Road / Evington Lane), then onto the racecourse for an event and then back into the city. It's an invitation only job, but there's nothing to stop people turning out to photograph proceedings should they so desire.

Could some kind person provide a list of the vehicles that have left Leicester, or been withdrawn at Leicester,  that corresponds with the receipt of the 35 Enviro400s !
(I would be very grateful).

66841, 66845 and 66849 all went back to Potteries,
32628/32631/32640/32641/32642 all went to Essex,
32630 is still in Leicester and was on the 25/26 yesterday complete with the grubby rear advert still.

Thanks Ashley and stuartn;
As soon as I can find my BBP First fleet book I'll update it and look at totals etc. -

( I didn't know if I'd get an answer, and that was really quick - THANKS )

23020 - YN54 APK, an Irizar bodied Scania K114, is currently at First Leicester's Abbey Lane depot.

Asking in advance to avoid a wasted journey, could somebody keep an eye out for 66315 and 66321 to clear the set, thanks in advance

66842 is now at Leicester's Abbey Lane depot and one more expected. 32630 thought to have already departed to Potteries and 37146 expected to move in the same direction too.

What is expected to release these from Leicester?

The FL fleet upgrade didn't last long

The answer I got was "saloons" would be ironic if it was ALX400's but my guess would be Geminis, well we can all guess. Does seem abit wasteful spending time and money investing in an upgrade that is to be potentially reversed

'Saloons' is old fashioned talk for Single Deck, so I doubt it will be ALX400s or Geminis, more likely the be B7RLE/Eclipse of a similar age

Typical First again, 'robbing off Peter to pay Paul'.

Even with all the new vehicle deliveries, there is still insufficient capacity around group to be able to cascade anything half decent due to years of under investment, and selling the London Op's and source of mid life vehicle has only exaggerated the problem
