Mike de Courcey has added another 2 former London Tridents this week to the fleet, both are ex Abellio fleet buses. The first and unregistered has been converted to single entrance an painted in to Mike de Courcey livery. There is inside work to be completed before entering service, it will be come No. 819. The second bus arrived at the depot yesterday, and is registered V328 KGW and in London red. When it has been repainted and converted to single entrance and fully prepared for service it will become No. 820. This will see 22 ex London Tridents in the fleet.

V328 has been knocking around the West Mdlands for about a year now in various states of disrepair, here are two shots of it

Green Bus had a load of these Tridents sat at the Hockley site gathering dust last year. Not sure if this was one though.

John the answer is V104 MEV is No. 819. . The last bus of the 6 ex London Tridents to be refurbished is 328 KGW No. 320. It has been painted into Mike de Courcey livery wwith full fleet titles and the seat backs and cushions have been stripped out for replacement very soon. Outwardly it looks a nice bus, and will be finished as all Mike's refurbished buses to a very good standard.

On September 1st, I should have reported before now, but my holiday intervened, that Mike de Courcey used 17 double-deckers running all day on the Warwick University Open Day shuttle service between the University and the Royal Showground at Stoneliegh. Its a very scenic route producing some nice pictures. On service that day were ex London Tridents, ex Brighton Scanias, 1 ex Edinburgh Olympian, 2 Optare Scanias, having a day off from the X6 Leicester service and three Coachleasing black coaches that were hired too.
