You are kidding me!! Ffs why is redditch getting nice buses all the time!! So you give there cast offs to te and have the new stuff, even though te makes a higher profit

If its still at redditch then @tank90 will be able to confirm it

All opinions and onions mentioned on here are mine and not those of any employer, current, past, present or future, or presented as fact, unless I prove it otherwise.

It's also a lot better, redditch b7s are awful

Not sure if you've noticed Simon's replies to several queries about the vehicles he operates, but he says he would love a fleet of B7RLEs and Citaros. Could that be because they are the best buses he operates?

As for 30492 it's nackered mate, rear suspension is shot. It had a very hard life in a China clay pit before its previous operator. Go to Eden Project in St Austell to see why or Google/Bing it.

As for our B7s they were good buses when new and good up until the take over FMR RH, the 04 plates aren't to great. As for the VDLs Streetlites and MANs they are shockingly bad. Near misses on some of our fast round a bouts some drivers aren't keen on them. If you'd like Rotala to change them over so we get our B7s back and you have the Streetlites and VDLs. As for new buses, TE has its fair share, the amount of large singles at TE is greater than RH, and as for age TE has a better age band.

Diamond's B7's are good. The Centros are rapid. The Redditch and Value ones are pukka all round. Just need to do the ex Wessex ones and I'm hoping the SJ04's are proper tuneful RLE's

But the Eden buses only go round and round the car parks? They use tractors for the land train down in to the pit?

The visitors centre is about half way up/down the pit and the car parks are on different levels of the site. Those up by the gates are on normal ground level and it is a steep ride down and up at low speeds which would put stress on the engine.
