Evening all,

My grandmother who is our main shareholder and 'chief' has told me to get on here and answer questions about our business activities.

To answer the question about us being 'fake' I can assure you this is not the case. Or operator licence is under a trading brand we used in Bristol called Bristol Greyhound. That name followed after I worked for Western Greyhound in Cornwall. We received a letter from First basically asking us to change the name because they own the rights to the greyhound name. So we changed it to CityFox Bristol Limited T/A Pier Buses UK. We own a Hackney taxi business in Bristol (17 vehicles), a Hot Dog fast food business and a Driver Hire business.

The whole Claribels incident was our previous marketing chap who was dismissed for various reasons, we were not quick enough to react to taking him off administering our pages, he decided to take revenge against us and brought Claribels into disrepute.

I really am sorry for any confusion and I will (attempt) to answer any questions you may have.

Kind Regards,

Rhys Hand

Kiewii- since we withdrew our commercial X7 service, we have not operated any services since. We did look into a partial replacement for Wessex's 15 service that they withdrew and the 20 service by First and our view was to provide brand new buses with a link to new Southmead Hospital, BCC didn't want to pay and funding so I scrapped the plans.

Ced - our visit was interesting to say the least.

With out meaning to come across rude but do you have any details of your company as I can't find anything online.

Can I ask what role you had at Pier Buses as well?

Thanks Dan

Incidentally, why was the Hot Dog Deli business mentioned in the post made in the Whittle's (since moved here?) According to Facebook (Posted 7th October) is was sold due to rising costs/change in demand.

I'm still a little confused, even after reading the explanation originally posted in the Whittle'd thread, as you've confirmed above that CityFox don't currently operate a single bus service, why do CityFox still pass themselves off as a bus operator running services on their Facebook page if they wish to be taken seriously? i.e:

Ready to start a nights work.. Hasn't it been ready since the day it was acquired & still waiting?

Photo from earlier, several road closures will effect services over the weekend. Check www.travelplus.org for details Which CityFox services were affected?

Due to a number of serious incidents involving buses being vandalised and damaged, the 501 & 502 are operating on a reduced timetable. Bristol City Council are aware. Update in a hour.  Which are Wessex services

What a time to be broken down in the centre!

This FB post has been edited to 'CityFox visiting wales' after someone commented it that is was another companies vehicle in service which had been photo-shopped in to Cityfox livery

Could you please advise the following:

1. Can't remember the various trading names as reply has now gone, could you please advise of CityFox's PSV operator license number?
2. Could you please provide a current fleet list for the CityFox bus fleet? As looking at the above FB posts, CityFox now appear to have a double decker, Omnicity, E300 & Dart DP32 in addition to the ex Diamond Darts owned, my fleetlist appears to be a bit of of date
3. Can you please advise when CityFox anticipate submitting their next returns to Companies House? As they are currently 4 months overdue.

Kiewii

Winston, the post about trading names and other businesses was posted in the Whittles thread.

That's funny as it was bristol greyhound Ltd trading as pier buses

Steveminor

How do you explain that you say it's cityfo Ltd trading as pier buses. Yet it's actually bristol greyhound ltd trading as pier buses.
I know the Delhi you refer to & it has no connection to & has never heard of cityfox.
I used to operate a group of business's around bristol weston & Burnham,  so think carefully about your answer.

Kiewii, thanks for pointing that out, I should have doubled checked my facts before posting. Post edited accordingly.

After reading several times I can honestly say I am confused... So my questions are as follows

1) What services do you actually offer, honestly, and with which vehicles?

2) If I was to go to Bristol, how much of a presence would 'cityfox' actually have within the City?

3) And finally, without meaning to be rude, or disrespectful, is this whole Cityfox business just some elaborate project, or even the brain child of someone who wishes to go into the bus industry, whom isn't quite sure how to go about it and has alot of spare time on their hands??

I look forward to your response sir

Kind regards

Danny
