How come a short journey on the 11 isn't 11AE or 11CE?
.
Don't think you can get four digits on the display

You can, eg. 904E workings to Sutton

934E too ;)

No worries, They might not all work granted but the facility itself is there. See the second photo on here just to confirm ;) http://wmbusphotos.com/NXWM/1317-1514/1439.html

All WM buses have had 4 track Roller Blinds (Fleetlines and Metrobuses (Maybe earlier than Fleetlines), until Presidents and O405Ns), a quite unusual feature, as most operators only have 3 track.

It makes sense when you consider before all the reviews of late there were a lot of 3 digit routes, all it takes is an E working and you need 4 places, not to mention old routes like 394A.

The Dudley routes have a lot of 4 digit E workings eg: 205E, 120E, 276E
Pensnett is my local garage. Favourite bus of all time is Fleetline 6360 (KON 360P).

Yes those too :P 255E is another obvious one that springs to mind.

See the first post in this topic for a 957E  ::)

When it was first introduced, the last journeys of the day on the 31A (before the evening 31A journeys to Robin Hood Island replaced the 31E journeys to Solihull Lane) used to terminate at Acocks Green garage from Shirley as 31AE journeys.
My locals:
2 - Birmingham to Maypole | 3 - Birmingham to Yardley Wood
11A/C - Birmingham Outer Circle | 27 - Yardley Wood to Frankley
76 - Solihull to Northfield | 169 - Solihull to Kings Heath

It never used to be unusual to see a 9E to Quinton Church

It still isn't unusual, there are timetabled Birmingham - Quinton Church 9E workings every weekday afternoon peak

Are the 9E'S to Edgbaston, Five Ways timetabled

No they aren't, but it's not uncommon to see a bus running late on a 9E to Five Ways

For many years on a Sunday, the 140 only ran to Bearwood so it was 140Es all day.
