Its a Scania L94UB/Wright Axcess Floline

I was going to ask what was happening to those. Transfer to Tividale perhaps with DDA nods? I wish lol

The 51 plate MPD's ex SLT have all been sold to Ensign dealer, so are just passing through

They wouldn't go in to Diamond, as Diamond don't operate Scania's.

That Scania/Wright does have history with the Dunn family, as it was purchased new for Dunn Line

Sayeed

or Midland Classic bought them to replace their 2 x S reg Scania L94UB's, just a thought :)

The W-reg SLT Scania's aren't DDA compliant, neither are the 2 S-reg Scania's at Midland Classic (which incidentally are ex Diamond/ex Ludlows)

Heavily used on 177/8/9 I seem to remember and also the Worcester country routes they briefly ran.

Could some of the SLT pointers be down for repaint into Diamond livery for the West Midlands?

All opinions and onions mentioned on here are mine and not those of any employer, current, past, present or future, or presented as fact, unless I prove it otherwise.

That should be joining Diamond KR along with all other ex Heathrow MAN's once repainted, however 30922 B20WTS has entered service at Long Acre after returning from repaint

All the ex SLT EK51XX- MPD's have been sold to Ensign, nxwmbusfan1999 has today photographed 20731 Y77SLT parked outside of the bodyshop at Long Acre, which suggests it could be being prep'd for a repaint. That along with sister 20730 Y66SLT are DDA compliant, so could replace older MPD's at Diamond

Visited Wigan yesterday - must say I was incredibly unimpressed.
;
First seen was anonymous ex D&G Scania YN04GMY ( followed by Wigan Buses T439EDB), then when I got to the bus station
Streetlite 20981 was failed on the first stand and  an SLT-liveried Solo pulled up behind it, seemingly to assist, blocking the entrance to the whole platform and buses that run down it to access the south facing stands!
;
Hardly seems to be the way to go about impressing any future quality contract regime with some vehicles carrying Diamond names, some South Lancs and some none at all.

Solo1

anyone know when they will start to paint the fleet into diamond livery  aslo what buses are used on what service
