X18/X17 changes-

X18 will now run direct from Warwick to Stratford via the existing X17 route up the A46.
X17 will now run from Warwick to Stratford via JLR, Wellesbourne and Tiddington (same route as the X18)

Both services will keep their every half hour frequency and will create a new, fast link between Stratford and Coventry.
When is this happening @bensweeney14 , I can't see it on the website...

Service 1 & 2 are extending to Weddington & two new housing estates from September.

Stagecoach have registered timetable changes to several Leamington area services, including the X17 and X18, effective from 16 September.

I haven't seen any timetables yet.

X17 timetable from 16/9/17 on Traveline but only goes to Warwick....

The 16 September Leamington area changes are now on the Stagecoach website, along with all the new timetables except the X18 so far.

The X17 and X18 are indeed swapping routes between Longbridge (the one outside Warwick!) and Stratford, so that the X18 will be "fast+direct" throughout.  The Sunday 18 route is unchanged but fewer buses will reach Evesham.

The other notable change is to the Warwick Uni services (Unibus), which are being revised and simplified to new U1 and U2, with the U1 serving a different part of Leamington to before.  Again the Sunday U17 route through to Coventry (a combination of the U1 and the X17) is unchanged with just minor timetable changes.

36208 transferred from Nuneaton to Rugby. Not the best ideas seeing as Nuneaton's route changes have upped the PVR...

This most certainly is NOT on the 96 today.
I have observed 34816, 36208 & 36210 on the route today.

Warwick!?
The new depot which replaced Leamington (and part of Stratford?) is in Poseidon Way, Warwick.  Is it still officially Leamington or does its official name now more accurately describe its location?
Unfortunately it's been a few years since every destination on the blind was preceded by a small LN.

It is officially Leamington depot, even though Poseidon Way is actually in Warwick.

The depot is smack bang in the middle of Leamington/Warwick, although personally I would say it's closer to Leamington than Warwick.
