From 7th April, a subtle revision to the 51 route in the Whoberley area to run along Broad Lane, Wildcroft Road and Brookside Avenue (instead of non-stop along Glendower Avenue) this also applies to the Mon-Sat Stagecoach service.
Considering the frequency reduction to the 14 service last summer this is a good move.
Buses along Brookside Ave again - the 11 (of old, up to April 1985) used to terminate there. Has it been used by buses since?

Quote from: Stu on February 04, 2024, 09:39:59 AMThey are not 'spare vehicles' at YW, those three replaced E004, E017 and E018 which Zenobe had back for some as yet unspecified reason.
E004 is at NXC garage - the parking area under the Ring Road (well, it was last weekend).

Quote from: Kevin_Brum12 on September 07, 2023, 01:06:14 AM6988 only in service though just a smidgen over 4 years.  Pretty appalling, given that the service life of a bus is 12 years and the fleets of the likes of Stagecoach and First spend most of their time out of doors. with few of their new depots having undercover storage.
6988 is the one with heavy fire damage.

Is E139 in service at Coventry? (it's not showing on Bustimes - I know that's not always right!) and I can't see it stored anywhere. I don't think I've actually seen that one yet!

In the BC list (2/5) I think that should be E089 (and not E086). I'm sure I've seen E086 in service around Coventry, unless it has returned to BC.

Quote from: sryan188 on May 03, 2023, 11:34:08 PMI have attached the Cannock/Lichfield map from the back as well as the Coventry Map and route list.

I can try to do a better picture in better light as some of the numbers are barely readable.
The Coventry map shows all the changes made after April 21st 1985, but I think includes some services that still ran pre-deregulation (service 1 to Stoke Heath etc). So its certainly from the 1985/86 period!

Looking at the NXC website and Google Maps/Street view etc - the Nuneaton journeys are now essentially just an extension of the Bedworth ones.

The outbound 20 route being as this? (buses heading back to Coventry traverse Newtown Road, Bond Street, Leicester Road, Vicarage Street, Church Street, back to Coton Road in Nuneaton itself - and make their way towards George Eliot Hospital inbound as well?)...

Trinity Street, Ironmonger Row, Cross Cheaping, The Burges, Bishop Street, Tower Street, Foleshill Road, Longford Road, Bedworth Road, Longford Road – Exhall, Coventry Road - Exhall, Black Bank, Coventry Road, Park Road, Mill Street, Leicester Street, Rye Piece Ringway, Johnson Road to junction with Wootton Street. Nuneaton journeys traverse; Johnson Road, Furnace Road, Marston Lane, B4113 Nuneaton Road, B4113 Coventry Road, Griff roundabout, Griff Way, Eliot Way (George Eliot Hospital), A444 Chilvers Rise, A444 Coton Road, Vicarage Street, Church Street, Justice Walk, Wheat Street, Bond Gate, Bond Street, Newtown Road, Nuneaton Bus Station.

Quote from: cris 99 on March 18, 2023, 07:42:02 PMI see 4501 has been removed off bustimes is withdrawn Tony heard no talk of this anywhere?
There's a pic on Facebook of 4501 at AG saying it is withdrawn - so I'd imagine it is.

Quote from: Stu on March 12, 2023, 10:34:35 AMIt says on that page:
"Service 7 between Coventry and Brownshill Green will depart from Bay G in Pool Meadow bus station."

Yes, sorry, I was getting the 7 & 20A mixed up! In-fact they duplicate the NXC routes.

Quote from: Joe on March 10, 2023, 10:15:20 PMSome more Route changes on the Nuneaton depot network from 15th April.

55 (Nuneaton - Coventry) will be withdrawn and partly replaced between Bedworth & Coventry by the new 56B.

Route 48C along with the 48L will also be renumbered 148 every 10 minutes still between Nuneaton & Coventry but every 30 minutes the service will connect from Coventry to Leicester, like how the old 48 used to work before being split up in 2020.

48A believed to be unchanged number wise at the moment

Nuneaton depot will also be running a new service in Hinckley numbered the 11 between Hinckley Bus Station & Hollycroft Grange at a frequency of every 30 minutes.

Link to all of the Warwickshire changes from Stagecoach's website: https://www.stagecoachbus.com/service-updates/serviceupdatesarticle?SituationId=ID-10/03/2023-10:02:19:920
Looking at that link, do 7 (evening/Sunday) journeys commence from Pool Meadow or Trinity Street?

I suppose the replacement of service 55 eliminates a duplication of that service number - NXC have a '55' too, admittedly only a Schools service.

Quote from: JPC on March 07, 2023, 11:23:03 PMA few DVSA registrations have recently appeared which indicates the following changes (to commence 23rd April)...

Service 7A - renumbered as 7, no change to timetable.
Service 15 - The Whitmore Park arm of service 13 is renumbered 15.
Services 2, 13/13A (Willenhall) and 19 - amended timetables.
Throwback to the past for Whitmore Park, 15 was the number used here until April 1985.

Are these temporary trainers - or will they be fully converted, not to run in normal service?

Quote from: GoldenSquid on January 27, 2023, 02:06:07 PMIf the split is permanent I hope that one side gets a different route number, as it could be confusing to some people.
The number '15' is available. The northern leg of the 13 I refer to - and harks back to pre-April 1985 when the 15 did run to Whitmore Park!

Yes, quite unusual. Even seeing Wright Gemini double deckers has become quite rare. Looks like 4576 was on the 17.

Quote from: craighu on January 22, 2023, 06:22:49 PMIf Bustimes is correct, then Coventry have no fewer than 4 Tridents in service today, which I think is pretty rare for a Sunday, especially with the influx of electrics. Can anyone confirm? Many thanks
I took a pic of 4576 on the 17 and at least one Wright Gemini today (Sunday).
