20A extension to Walsgrave Hospital presumably needs an extra bus, but like John I doubt 2153 will be branded.

2153 has gone for paint into blue! And the 11 route is changing.

Will this be Unbranded or Branded ?

I would think it would remain unbranded

Thanks

Went round the Council House to have a look at plans for the new proper zebra crossing in Trinity Street which had been advertised on notices on lampposts.
They are going to plonk it between the 2/3 and 21 stand and the Whittle Arch in a short length of road which now has 20 mile per markings on it.
No effect on bus stops.
Taxis normally pick up people here who come out of Sainsbury's and wave them over.

Saw new

University Hospital

display for extension starting next Monday on B7 this morning!

Hope to have flickr account set up soon, as the 20A was obviously bigger than shown above.

2153 back from refurb...

Wonder if this is the youngest ever bus to get a refurb.
Pensnett is my local garage. Favourite bus of all time is Fleetline 6360 (KON 360P).

I'm sure it is yes

Without seeing it I'm guessing its just had a retrim, not a refurb as such.

Only seen inside while passing on another bus. The original flat topped seat handrails remain with new grey seats. The bus also had more bell pushes at the front than NX B7s.

Shame about the seats as in my opinion, this bus previously had arguably the comfiest seats in the fleet!

Still has those seats, just retrimmed.

Centro made a total pigs ear of todays change round of stands in Pool Meadow
The two Supervisor's did a sterling job much against the odds, the leaflet of revised stands and displays at stops were made by one of Supervisors on his own initiative, full marks. The only thanks they got originally was to be expected to come in this weekend in their own time >:(

As of lunchtime there were no official were to catch your bus notices and the RTl was still displayed at previous stand positions.
People wandered about in the bus lanes especially as buses to University Hospital now go from the stands at the back.
The 900 also moved next to the old canteen but lost passengers wandered over and stood in the bus lanes by 900 branded Jennifer or one of her sisters wondering where she went from.

lf l bump into a Centro manager tomorrow l will pass on a sound piece of Health and Safety advice l was once given
"lf you see something that's unsafe don't just sit on your arse get up and do something about it before an accident happens"

This one has also retained the black headlight/Wrightbus logo on the front the same as 2030 & 2031 which went to Dundee, looks much better......

the trainbasher

Tbh the Coventry blue livery looks smarter than the red NXWM livery, especially the darker red that's on the ex Coventry Scanias

NXC confirms service changes starting 30/09/2013....

- Extension of service 11 in Leamington to Tachbrook Road.
??? Unsure how far this'll go/how it will turn around, it doesn't sound like it's going to be the same Sydenham loop as per service 12 a few years back.
- The late night 11X journey is to run six nights a week rather than three.
