One thing Daimler Mercedes Benz are good at is producing excellent Diesel engines, I do miss the sound of the 0405n for all its faults you couldn't knock that 12 litre engine.

Someone's growing herbal cannabis in that AEC.

Ah well, send it on the Bristol Road it'll blend in well.

Hahaha. That is awesome :)

HA! Makes me wonder if anybody has messaged the seller asking if it is included with the bus!

Haha! The street value of that lot would be far more than the £3200 it went for. I should have bid.

If you read the description it says this is an advert for a public auction & £99 is not the price the bus is listed for.

Shame it's for chopping up, it was a nice bus when we had it at Nuneaton

Not as expensive as most ALX 400's I have seen...

It is certainly very cheap for a B7TL, which appear to hold their value better than Tridents do (unsurprisingly). However, it's still got Irish plates on it so would need a COIF to be used in the UK, and getting that would have to be factored in to the cost. Such things are best left to the likes of Ensign, although ex-Dublin kit is well looked after and the first batch of 50 B7TLs Ensign brought across sold in about five minutes.
