6144 again on the X12 this morning

MW

Couple of 11 branded Geminis off route today, out on the 1/5/31. Presumably there's a bunch of Crimson Geminis off the road hence the loans.

Not long got of 4304 on the 11A, the driver has been stopping at stops and when he closes the doors for some reason the bus won't move again, it did it at the Yew Tree where it took him 10 minutes to get it to move, by Stechford Station and Stechford Lane next to Stechford Road.
Local Routes
94/95, 11A/11C, 28.

If they are anything like the Plaxton Presidents, it sounds like a dodgy interlock.

One word - SHED!
Never liked 4300-4304. Sluggish as anything, happy to see the back of them from PB.

4302 had similar issue when at Walsall. Close doors, interlock releases, then when a driver is accelerating to go, interlock comes back on and the brakes would activate. It was annoying for the drivers. Certain drivers kept booking it off until it would get fixed - apparently it never got fixed until it transferred to Acocks Green.

I like 4300, 4301, and 4304. 4301 used to be very loud when at Walsall. Every time when a driver released handbrake, it did this loud howl, was brilliant!

Was 4300 the one that had its fans blasting out all the time? Is it's not that one than its 4303. 4301 is the only good one out of 4300-4304 but that still has its issues.

4301 was the one I didn't like to drive. One of the pedals was very light and very hard to drive smoothly I think it was the accelerator in this one and the brake pedal in 4260. 4300 was a good one, can't remember the others so they were probably average. I miss them at Perry Barr, they stood out with the Scottish registrations

I think it was 4300.

Meanwhile, whilst on subject of B7 ALXs, is 4295 poorly? Just that since it transferred to Acocks Green, I had it once on 11A couple of months later, and then I haven't seen it or heard any sightings of 4295 for a while. Or am I just unlucky with 4295 now after having it many times at Walsall?

I always see 4295, whenever I'm I'm in Solihull it's one of the first buses I see. Ridden it on the 73.

Where it always is. Before the 73 was back at AG, I would always see 4295 on the 1.

They don't just stick to the  73 or any specific route. They get about onto the 1 and 11 as well and 4295 is no different.

I know it doesn't have a specific route, I'm just saying that I always see it on the 73 and rarely on the 1 and 11. Sometimes see it on the 72.
